Officer Tristan Valenti as the School Resource Officer in Kittery. Office Valenti has been with the Kittery Police Department for 5 years now. He has been in law enforcement for 16 years in Canada and the US. Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Officer Valenti speaks fluent French and Italian (and English as well!). He completed three peacekeeping missions in Bosnia, Sudan, and Haiti. Although a Canadian at heart, Office Valenti has also been a lifelong lover of coastal Maine. From the age of 4, he spent summers in Old Orchard Beach with his grandparents. In 2011, he made the big move from Montreal to Maine.
Officer Valenti enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and two dogs. As a family, they enjoy the beach, swimming, hiking, and traveling. He also has a passion for ATVs, snowmobiling, and kayaking. Officer Valenti is proud to be part of the Kittery community, and he will strive to become a valuable asset to the Kittery School District. He looks forward to forming lasting relationships that are built on mutual respect and trust. Officer Valenti completed the NASRO training for Maine School Resource Officers in Lewiston (a 40-hour training program) in the summer of 2021.
