BDA:    SCHOOL COMMITTEE ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING

The Committee will organize annually through the election of officers at the next regular meeting following the day of their election (first Tuesday of November) or as soon thereafter as is practical.  The Superintendent will call the meeting to order and will preside until a Chairperson is elected by majority vote of the entire seven Committee members.

A Vice-Chairperson is elected by majority vote of the entire School Committee members and will serve as presiding officer and assume the rights and responsibilities of the Chair in his/her absence.
